Deliberately digital aims to deal with the issues that arise when technology is being used for both social interaction and as a learning or work platform.
The programme will encourage participants to recognise the positives and negatives of using digital media, and apply the provided tips to improve their habits and ensure that their use of technology does not cause them to lose focus.
The 1.5 hour workshop will focus on how we can use technology, social media and apps to improve productivity and connectedness, while not allowing poor habits to develop which can lead to distraction, ineffective use of valuable time and an increased sense of isolation.
In our increasingly online world, finding the balance between our real and digital lives can be difficult.
Our digital lives can connect us to friends and family, share experiences and allow us to learn new things but online activities can also negatively effect our 'real' world. This workshop explores the ways that our online habits can impact our mental health, self esteem, relationships and even our sleep.
The workshop will shine a light on the bad habits that can creep into family life. Participants will leave the session with easy and practical steps to follow to ensure their online activities don't negatively impact their life rather than enrich it.
