Coding is an in-demand STEM subject and early exposure to the science of coding serves to encourage children’s technical competency and confidence, potentially peaking future career interests in the area.
In their REIM Coding workshop, children will be encouraged to think about the fact that coding is the key ingredient for many of the things that we use in our daily lives, from computer games to kitchen utensils, to car technology. They will also explore future roles for which coding is a key skill.
Schools will have the option to choose from a number of coding applications including:
- Scratch Junior
- Scratch
Class Duration
This is an 8 hour Course that can be run over 2 full days or 4 x 2 hour sessions.
