This workshop is designed to build on the learning topics in the Fundamentals of Online Safety workshop but addresses the topic of Cyberbullying in more depth.

Upon completion of this workshops students will:

  • Have a clear understanding of the definition of Cyberbullying
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of what constitutes Cyberbullying
  • Recognise the different types of Cyberbullying when they occur
  • Know what devices, apps and websites can be used to cyberbully
  • Define the terms Upstander & Bystander
  • Understand the feelings associated with being cyber-bullied
  • Know what to do and who to go to if they experience Cyberbullying
  • Know what to do and who to go to if they witness Cyberbullying

How is this workshop delivered?

This 1-hour workshop is delivered in class by our trained facilitators.  It is delivered as part of a two-hour workshop package whereby schools can pick a minimum of two topics from the following list or run the same workshop to a minimum of two class groups:

  • Fundamentals of Online Safety
  • My Digital Footprint
  • Stranger Danger
  • Cyberbullying
  • Safe Social Networking

The learning materials include a presentation, interactive worksheets and other materials.
