Digital Safeguarding Workshop

Protecting Children in a Connected World

Digital safeguarding is now an essential part of protecting children and young people. Online concerns can develop quickly, move between school and home, and involve everything from social media and messaging platforms to gaming, image sharing and emerging technologies.

REIM’s Digital Safeguarding Workshop equips school staff and professionals with the knowledge and practical confidence to recognise, manage and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns in the digital environment.

The session explores the responsibilities of professionals working with children, current and emerging online risks, and the procedures that should be followed when a concern is identified or disclosed.
