Cyberbullying Workshop

Being Kind and Respectful Online

The internet should be a place where children can learn, play and connect with others safely. Our Cyberbullying Workshop helps primary school pupils understand what cyberbullying is, how it can happen across different online platforms, and how they can respond safely and respectfully.

Using age-appropriate activities, discussions and real-life scenarios, pupils develop empathy, build confidence and learn the importance of treating others with kindness both online and offline.

What Pupils Will Learn

Understanding Cyberbullying

Children will learn what cyberbullying is, how it differs from face-to-face bullying, and recognise the many ways it can happen through games, messaging apps, social media and other online platforms.

Upstander vs Bystander

Pupils will explore the difference between watching bullying happen and taking positive action. They will discover how being an Upstander can make a real difference while always keeping themselves safe.

Online Respect

Children will understand how their words and actions online can affect others and why kindness, respect and responsible digital behaviour are so important.

Digital Empathy

Through discussion and interactive activities, pupils will explore how cyberbullying can impact someone’s feelings, confidence and wellbeing, helping them develop empathy and compassion for others.

Getting Help & Support

Pupils will identify trusted adults they can speak to if they experience or witness cyberbullying and learn practical steps they can take to report concerns and stay safe online.
