CompTIA SecurityX is an advanced cybersecurity certification designed for experienced IT and security professionals who want to develop their expertise and progress into senior level cybersecurity roles.
The course focuses on advanced security architecture, security engineering, governance, risk management, vulnerability management and incident response, with an emphasis on applying cybersecurity knowledge to complex real world environments.

How Much Will The Programme Cost?
This programme is fully funded through the Skills to Advance initiative, delivered by AMTCE in partnership with Louth and Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB). Eligible participants can complete the programme at no cost, subject to meeting the funding criteria
How Is The Course Delivered?
The course is delivered through a blended training model, combining tutor led online evening classes with practical, in person training at AMTCE Dundalk. Online classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
Learners will also attend four in person training days at AMTCE Dundalk. These sessions run from 9.30am to 4.30pm and provide practical hands on training in a Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC), including planned practical activities.
